ABOUT THE ROLE
The applicant will have qualifications in architecture, landscape architecture and/or urban design and will desirably have 2-10 years post graduate practice.
The successful applicant has the potential to be involved in a wide variety of development projects, including:
+ Town centre revitalisation schemes
+ Public recreation spaces and facilities
+ Master plans for living communities, employment lands and open space
+ Retail/commercial site design
+ Traffic circulation and parking schemes
Preference will be given to applicants demonstrating good design and communications skills and experience with relevant software, including visualisation programs. The applicant will need to demonstrate good project management skills and the ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
POSITION PARTICULARS
This position is a permanent full-time position. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Civil Engineer or Civil Designer will be involved with a wide variety of development projects, including:
+ Design for subdivision, built form and infrastructure projects
+ Design of earthworks, roads, car parks, stormwater, sewer, and water
+ Preparation of bills of quantities and contract documents for tendering
+ Supervision and administration of construction contracts
Preference will be given to applicants demonstrating relevant experience in the above, including experience in computer software programs such as AutoCAD and 12d Model.
POSITION PARTICULARS
This position is a permanent full-time position. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful applicant will be involved in a wide variety of development projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
+ Providing planning direction and guidance for various built form, subdivision and public open space projects to achieve quality design and approval outcomes. Work will involve the following sectors: residential; healthcare; education; commercial; industrial; recreational and public facilities.
+ Identifying design constraints, applicable standards, design specifications and development conditions or codes in relation to urban and rural development projects; Obtain approvals including DAs.
+ Preparation of Statement of Environmental Effects
+ Preparation of Environmental Impact Statements
+ Preparation of Planning Proposals
+ Preparation of Review of Environmental Factors
+ Establishment of strong working relationships with clients, Government agencies & other consultants
+ Identification and interpretation of legislative and policy requirements
+ Management of sub-consultants
+ Project Management
Preference will be given to applicants demonstrating relevant experience in the above, including self-motivation, an ability to prioritise workloads and having the following complimentary skills:
+ Very good verbal and written communication skills
+ Attention to detail in producing accurate, quality reports which add value to the development process
POSITION PARTICULARS
This position is a permanent full-time position. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Architect or Graduate Architect will need at least two (2) years local post graduate experience in an Architectural studio environment. Preference will be given to candidates with:
+ Proficiency in ArchiCAD 25 and above, Adobe suite preferable
+ Demonstrated design skills and attention to detail
+ Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
+ Clear graphic and written communication skills
+ Demonstrated organisational and time management skills

POSITION PARTICULARS
This position is a permanent full-time position. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
The Civil Project and Construction Manager will be involved with a wide variety of development projects. Preference will be given to applicants demonstrating a broad range of project experience. Core responsibilities will include:
+ Design review of civil works documentation
+ Preparation of contract documents for tendering including schedules of estimated quantities
+ Administration of construction contracts including site supervision
+ Project management of civil construction projects

Our Work Placement Program has been met with enthusiastic feedback from past participants, which encourages us to continue offering these opportunities to eager students.
Who Can Apply?
Our Work Placement Program is open to high school and university students who are considering careers in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Town planning, Architecture or Landscape Architecture. Students should be curious and ready to actively engage in a real-world professional setting.
Program Details
- Duration: The typical work experience placement lasts between 1 to 2 weeks. For select University students completing their 12 weeks industry experience, we have offered 12 week placements.
- Location: All work experience positions are based in Port Macquarie.
- Activities: Participants will have the opportunity to:
+ Shadow our professionals and participate in day-to-day activities.
+ Assist in ongoing projects under the guidance of experienced mentors.
+ Attend meetings and learn about the decision-making processes.
+ Engage in learning sessions tailored to their career aspirations and interests.
