In 2015 King & Campbell were engaged to prepare a Vibrancy Strategy for the Town Centre of Parkes. The Strategy was adopted by Council in 2016. King & Campbell were subsequently engaged to prepare design development and detailed design documentation for key projects proposed in the Strategy, including the Cooke Park Multi-Purpose building. In 2018 the project received significant State Government funding. 

The Cooke Park Pavilion is 400sqm approximately in area with a 150sqm stage which addresses Cooke Park.  

King & Campbell were involved through the whole project for architecture, interior design and civil engineering from concept design and stakeholder engagement through to construction documentation, including co-ordination of all services and structural engineers. 

The project was officially opened in 2021.
